Mon matin
Je me lève à sept heures. Je prends une douche et je m'habille.
Dans la cuisine, je prépare un café. Je mange du pain avec du beurre. Ma fille arrive. Elle boit un jus d'orange et elle cherche son sac.
À huit heures moins le quart, nous sortons. L'école est près de la maison. Nous marchons dix minutes.
Ensuite, je prends le bus pour aller au bureau. Le matin, le bus est plein. J'écoute de la musique et je regarde la ville.
English translation
I get up at seven o'clock. I take a shower and I get dressed.
In the kitchen, I make a coffee. I eat bread with butter. My daughter arrives. She drinks an orange juice and she looks for her bag.
At a quarter to eight, we leave. The school is near the house. We walk for ten minutes.
Then I take the bus to go to the office. In the morning the bus is full. I listen to music and I watch the city.
Why this is A1
Everything happens in the present tense with high-frequency verbs of daily life. The text introduces clock time and two reflexive verbs, which is exactly what an A1 learner needs to describe their own day.
